The students at St. John the Evangelist Regional Catholic School reach out to the community through many service projects.
- Preschool makes cards for Children’s Hospital.
- Kindergarten makes cards for the residents of Mt. Macrina, Laurel Ridge, and Golden Living.
- First Grade makes gifts for Golden Living.
- Second Grade collects donations for Fayette Friends of Animals.
- Third Grade collects canned food items for City Mission Living Stones Project
- Fourth Grade collects cans for the Allegheny Hospital Burn Unit and sends cards to St. Jude Hospital.
- Fifth Grade collects items for the St. Vincent de Paul stores.
- Sixth Grade creates cards for St.Jude’s Hospital.
- Seventh Grade collects for Food for the Poor.
Eighth Grade Collects food and money for Crime Victim’s Center.
All grades participate in a Senior Citizen Pen Pal program through our surrounding Catholic Parishes.
