Contests

Students are challenged throughout the year by a variety of contests.  Many companies or organizations have sponsored these contests including: Amvets, Catholic War Veterans, Catholic Daughters of America, Lion’s Club, Fort Necessity, Herald Standard, Fire Prevention, Pro Life, and the East End Community Center. 

Forensics 

Forensics competition is offered to the junior high students.  The students compete against area diocesan students in dramatic and humorous categories.  Our students have always received a high percentage of first place winners.

Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science

St. John the Evangelist Regional Catholic School junior high students have participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) competition for more than 25 years and has been recognized for having the highest percentage of first place winners in the region.
